    Use the link your coach sends on your Android phone, then download the app file (APK).

  2. Install Practice Field

    Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser. Follow the prompts for your team’s approved app.

  3. Open the app and join your team

    Register with the email your coach invited and add your adult contact details, or sign in. Enter any requested email-confirmation code, then your separate team invitation code.

No Expo Go needed. The pilot download link will be set up to work without an Expo account.

TestFlight is the installer. You’ll also need your team’s invitation to install Practice Field.

    Get TestFlight from the App Store. It’s how Apple distributes apps for a private pilot.

  2. Accept your TestFlight invitation

    Open the invitation provided for your team, then tap Install for Practice Field.

  3. Open Practice Field from your home screen

    Register with the email your coach invited and add your adult contact details, or sign in. Enter any requested email-confirmation code, then your separate team invitation code.

Open Practice Field directly after installation. TestFlight handles pilot installs and updates; no Expo account is needed.

Your coach’s computer can stay off. An internet connection is needed for sign-in and shared team records.

Getting the team started should feel simple. Here are the essentials.

When is Practice Field meant to be used?

Practice Field is mainly for individual practice outside coached team sessions. Coaches assign drills, players work on them with appropriate family support, and parents record the practice. Coaches can then review the effort and give feedback. It supports what players learn at team practice.

Does my child need an account?

For this pilot, a parent or guardian uses the app for their child. Children have player profiles linked to their family’s adult accounts.

Can I manage more than one child?

Yes. Your coach can link your parent account to more than one child, so you can record practice for each child you manage.

Can I coach and manage my own child?

Yes. Coaches can link their own children and switch between Coach view and My family using the same account.

Who can see my child’s practice?

Team families can see athlete names and weekly progress summaries. A photo is shared with team families only when a linked guardian opts in for that image. Detailed practice entries and coach feedback remain available only to linked guardians and authorized team coaches.

Are parent replies visible to the whole team?

No. A parent’s reply to a team announcement is visible only to the parent who sent it and active coaches on that team.

Is email verification the same as my team invitation?

They’re separate. The email verification code confirms your adult account. Your coach’s personal team invitation code connects that account to the team and your linked children. Use the email address your coach invited.

Do I need to open TestFlight every time?

No. Once installed, Practice Field opens from its own icon on your iPhone’s home screen. TestFlight is used to install and update the pilot. Pilot builds expire after 90 days and need a replacement build.

TestFlight asks for a redeem code. Which code do I use?

Open the TestFlight invitation provided by your coach or pilot organizer. Your Practice Field team code belongs inside Practice Field, not in TestFlight. If you only have a team code, ask your coach for the separate app-install invitation.

How do I get a team invitation?

Ask your coach. This first pilot is invite-only. Installing the app does not automatically join a team, and this website does not create an account or collect player information.
